Accessibility

The St. Mark’s sanctuary is accessible by wheelchair ramp, located at the front of the building. An accessible restroom is located on the first level.

All worship bulletins are large print.

Hearing Impairment

Microphones are always used during the worship service. Hearing devices are also available at the entrance. Just ask the usher, or look for the basket on the table in the Narthex.

Children and Teens

Children and teenagers are warmly invited to be a part of worship, and welcome to participate fully. There are lots of sights, smells, and sounds to take in. Even the smallest children can bow as the cross passes and learn to make the sign of the cross.

Children can pick up a "Lion Cubs" bag on the way into worship, filled with toys and activities to keep their hands busy as they pray. Toward the beginning of worship, they will be invited to attend Children’s Church, which takes place in the chapel during worship. It’s a time to hear a story of our faith with two trained adults. They return to receive communion with the congregation.

Older children and teenagers may be interested in playing a role in worship, such as carrying the cross, reading scripture, or ushering. Contact Pastor Emily if you're interested.

Children's sounds are welcome in the sanctuary, but if you need a quiet space for your child during worship, you're welcome to head across the hall outside the sanctuary where there’s space to roam.
