Thrift Store Open
Sunday, April 28, 2024
2 to 6pm in the Great Hall at St. Mark’s
The Skylight Boutique is open every 2nd and 4th Sunday! This pay-what-you-can LGBTQ+ thrift store was brought to life by our partner congregation, Dreams and Visions. Stop by during their next open hours on April 28 between 2 and 6pm to shop and socialize. Bring a friend, stay for the queer-affirming vibes, and leave with a fun new outfit that helps you feel more like yourself!
*Please note that the Skylight Boutique is located up two flights of stairs, and we don't have an elevator—yet! (If you'd like to help hasten the day that the Skylight Boutique becomes wheelchair accessible, stay tuned for more info on how you can support our Capital Campaign.)

2024 Synod Assembly
Friday, June 7 to Saturday, June 8, 2024
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (21 Carroll St, Westminster, MD 21157)
The 37th Synod Assembly of the Delaware-Maryland Synod is coming soon, and this year’s theme is “Blessed, Broken and Shared: Church in a New Day!”
St. Mark’s can send two voting members to the assembly, and the opportunity to attend is open to any member of St. Mark’s. The annual Assembly is an opportunity to feel connected to the larger Lutheran church, learn what other congregations are doing, find new resources for spiritual growth, and participate in forming the direction of the Synod by voting on resolutions.
Anyone who might be interested, especially any one who may not have had the opportunity to attend in the past, please email Anita Brown or Vicar Mo as soon as possible.
